OUTCOME 2. DEVELOPED MODULAR ILAN COURSE

 


  At the first stage of the project experts and senior developers of the Coordinator defined target groups of users of foreign language course. On the basis of SWOT analysis the proposals for the developers group on development of modules contents were formed for master and postgraduate students, technical teachers and administrative staff of Centers of Academic Mobility.
  In October 2008 1-week workshop was organized in Linköping University (SE3) for the joint group which consisted of selected developers of ILAN course and designers of multimedia elements of this course. The main aim of this workshop was to study the experience of European Universities in the development of foreign language courses with usage modern teaching methods including information technologies.
  At the next stage of the project activities on development of ILAN modules contents were implemented in Russian Universities. Members of the developers group selected sampling and complete methodical and teaching materials on ILAN modules, translated necessary materials into Russian and prepared a draft version and structure of modules (units).
  In June 2009 on at the meeting of the developers' group in Moscow (RU2) pilot version of teaching materials for ILAN Coursebook was presented and approved of. At the final stage of the project the works were carried out on the development of methodical materials for foreign language teachers, on improvement and adaptation of teaching materials on the basis of the feedback with members of the target groups and recommendations of the experts who implemented monitoring of materials developing.
After the approval of the set of teaching materials ILAN course was published in 300 copies for usage in Partner universities and dissemination.
